Help your community to vote in this year’s General Election!
The Electoral Commission needs people with different skills and backgrounds to help deliver the 2023 General Election. Whether you want to work for several weeks or just for a day, there’s a variety of options to suit you.
In the Kaikōura electorate, we are now hiring people to work at voting places on Election Day on 14 October.
The roles are paid at a minimum of living wage. Staff must be over the age of 16, and be available to attend paid training on 1-2 evenings in late September.
